초록은 어디에나 있다.​

어느새 짙어진 길거리의 나무들. 무성하게, 두서 없이 자라난 잎사귀들 위에 해가 앉았다. 움직일 때마다 흔들리는 이파리들이 황홀하다. 줄기에서 싹을 틔워 울긋불긋한 낙엽으로 땅에 떨어지기까지, 이파리의 대부분의 시간은 초록색이다. 그 위에 빛이 떨어질 때 빛의 실재를 느낄 수 있다. 빛이 비추는 무더기의 부분에 음영이 생긴다. 양감이 더해진다. 

 

거리 속의 초록이 그림으로 느껴질 때 내 마음의 여백을 실감한다. 싹이 올라오는 순간부터 계속 변하는 초록의 색들을 나는 충분히 눈에 담았나? 어느 때나 초록을 인지할 수 있는 힘을 기도한다.

Green is everywhere.

 

The trees on the street had grown dark and the sun sits on their lush, overgrown leaves. The leaves swayed with every movement. The leaves are green most of the time, sprouting from the stems and falling to the ground as rustling leaves. When the light falls on them, you can feel the reality of the light. Shading occurs in the areas of the clump where the light hits with adding dimension. 

 

When I see the green in the distance as a painting, I feel the space in my mind. Have I taken in enough of the ever-changing colours of green from the moment the shoots emerge? I pray for the strength to perceive green at any time.
